The following are the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to be called for interview for selection to the post of L.P.SCHOOL ASSISTANT ( Malayalam Medium) on Rs.4000-6090/- in Education Department in Pathanamthitta District notified in the Gazette Dated 26-4-2005 (Category No:87/05) based on the Objective Type (OMR) Test held on 19-11-2005.

The Register Numbers are arranged in their sequence and the arrangement does not in any way indicate the respective Rank .

‘H’ shall be prefixed to all Register Numbers to indicate Pathanamthitta District.

The candidates who have obtained 36 (Thirty Six) marks and above in the Objective Type (OMR) Test have been included in the Main List of this Short List. The cut-off marks have been lowered to the extend necessary in respect of candidates under the Supplementary Lists.

An interview will be conducted for all candidates. The date, time and place of interview will be intimated in due course.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. The answer scripts will be re-checked to see that all answers are valued and that there is no mistake in totaling of marks to the various answers, if the prescribed fee of Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by Chalan under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-105-State PSC 99 Examination Fee”. Candidates whose Register Numbers are not mentioned in the Short List should submit application for re-checking within one month from the day on which this notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission and they are not entitled for a chance for re-checking after the publication of Ranked List.

Valid application for re-checking together with the Chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should reach the DISTRICT OFFICER, KERALA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, DISTRICT OFFICE, PATHANAMTHITTA within 30 days from the date on which the Short list is officially released by the Public Service Commission. Application for re-checking received after the prescribed time will not be entertained. The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

In the case of candidates who submit applications for re-checking within the prescribed time limit enclosing the Chalan receipt, as stated above, the marks will be rechecked and discrepancies, if any, will be rectified. The result of the re-checking will be intimated to the candidates from this Office.

The candidates belonging to Backward Classes included in the Short List who are required to produce Non-Creamy Layer Certificates as per G.O.(P)No. 36/2000/SC/ST DD dated 27-05-2000 shall produce the same at the time of Interview. Those in the Main List who fail to produce the required Non-Creamy Layer Certificates will not be entitled to the benefit of community and will be considered as Open Competition Candidates. If Register Numbers of such candidates are included in the Supplementary List of Backward Classes, their Register Numbers shall be deleted from the Short List without further notice.

NOTES:

I. Inclusion of register numbers in this list is purely provisional, subject to absolute scrutiny of applications. Inclusion of register number in the Short List does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

II. The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidates in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage .

III. Candidates whose Register Number included in the Short List are directed to sent self attested copies of documents to prove their claims made in the applications ie., Date of Birth, Community, Qualifications and other benefits if any they are entitled to, the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Mangalam Plaza, Kumbazha Road, Pathanamthitta – 689 645 within 15 days from the date of this Notification. The register numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications found other wise defective will be deleted from the short list without further notice.
