N O T I F I C A T I O N
The following are the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to be called for Dictation Test for selection to the post of CONFIDENTIAL ASSISTANT GRADE II on Rs.3590-5400 (Pre-revised)in Various Department in Kottayam District (Category No, 223/2005) notified in the Gazette dated 31/12/2005 based on the OMR Test held on 18/08/2006. The Register Numbers are arranged in their numerical sequence and the arrangement does not in any way indicate their respective rank or position in the Supplementary List, on the basis of the said Test.
The letter ‘K’ should be prefixed to all Register Numbers to indicate Kottayam District.

Note 1. Inclusion of the register numbers in this unified list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on Absolute basis. Inclusion of register number in this unified short list does not confer any right on the candidates to be called for Dictation Test or for subsequent inclusion in the ranked list.
Note 2. The short list is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidates in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.
This is a unified Short List consisting of Main List and Supplementary List. The candidates who have secured 48 (Forty eight) marks and above in the OMR Test are included in the Main List of this unified Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists.
The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the unified Short List, who are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G. O (P) No. 36/2000/SC/STDD dated 27.05.2000 shall produce the same as and when called for. Such candidates in the main list who fail to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition candidates. As regards such candidates in the Supplementary Lists of Other Backward Classes, their register numbers will be deleted from the Short List without further notice, if they fail to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.
The date, time and place of Dictation Test will be intimated in due course.
According to the existing procedure, revaluation of Answer Scripts is not allowed, but answer scripts will be re-checked if the prescribed fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account “ 0051 PSC-105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”. Applications for re-checking should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry section of the various offices of the Commission or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission’s website www.keralapsc.org. or photocopied there from. The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced with the application for re-checking. Application for re-checking received from Candidates whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be considered. Rechecking of Answer Script is not allowed after the publication of unified short list. Candidates whose register numbrs are not included in the Ranked List should submit the application for rechecking within one month from the date of publication of Ranked List. Candidates whose register numbers are not included in the unified short List are advised to refer to notification for the register numbers of invalidated answer scripts and reasons thereof. This notification will be published later.
Valid applications for re-checking addressed to the “DISTRICT OFFICER, KPSC DISTRICT OFFICE, MUTTAMBALAM, KOTTAYAM -4” should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which the Ranked List is officially released by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Applications for re-checking received after the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained.
The fee once remitted will not be refunded.
In the case of candidates who send applications for re-checking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the marks awarded will be rechecked and the result of the re-checking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.
