NOTIFICATION

          The following are the Register Numbers of candidates who are provisionally considered for inclusion in the Ranked List for the post  of LOWER DIVISION TYPIST (DIRECT RECRUITMENT) (category No. 225/2005) and LOWER DIVISION TYPIST (BY TRANSFER) (Category No. 226/2005) in  Various Departments in Kasaragod District notified in the Gazette dated 31/12/2005 on the basis of the OMR Test held on 12/8/2006.  The arrangement of numbers in the list are in sequence and in no way indicates the respective rank on the basis of the marks secured in the examination.   The original certificates to prove Date of birth, Community, Qualification, Experience, etc. in respect of the candidates will be verified before the ranked list is finalised and published. 

“The candidates who have obtained 44  marks and above in the test are included in the Main List of this  Probability List.  The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in the Supplementary Lists and the candidates who have secured 39 marks and above in the By Transfer Category are included in the List- II”.   The Date, Time and Venue fixed for verification of documents is given below.  The date, time and venue of the  Interview for PH candidates included in the List will be intimated later.

Candidates included in the list will have to produce in person, the original documents along with  self attested copies, to prove their claims made in the application, i.e., Qualification, Date of Birth and other benefits if any, at the District Office of K.P.S.C., Kasaragod at the time, and date given below.  Among the reservation categories, SC/ST candidates have to produce their Caste Certificate in Original along with two self attested copies.  Among the other backward communities, those who are engaged in Traditional occupation and those who belong to the sub caste of  class of people engaged in fishing  as their occupation have to produce the Caste Certificate (Original & Self attested copies) showing specifically that they are engaged in the Traditional occupation.  Candidates belonging to the above said Group and SC/ST Category are exempted from producing the Non-creamy Layer Certificate.  Candidates having the benefit of reservation and belonging to  Other Backward Classes, except the above mentioned category have to produce Non-creamy Layer Certificate.

            Candidates belonging to the Category of Sports Ex-Servicemen and Physically handicapped have to produce the Certificates concerned in Original along with the self attested copy to get the extra benefits they claimed in the application. Documents produced in any way other than in person are not acceptable.         

Since the process of finalisation of the Ranked List is time bounded no time will be granted to any candidate in any circumstances to produce any documents in original and copies of documents.  Hence the candidates should give special attention to see that their chances are not lost by their absence for the verification.  The  candidates have to go through the time table for verification of documents given below and have to report for verification of documents at the time and date specified in the time table at their own expense.

2.Qualification                             : 1.SSLC/Equivalent Certificate in originalwith self attested copy. If having                                                      higherqualification the concerned original  Certificate with copy.

                                                  2.Lower Grade Certificate in KGTE (Malayalam Typewriting)(Original &Copy)

                                                  3.Lower Grade Certificate in KGTE (EnglishTypewriting)  (Original & copy)

                                                  4.Certificate and Mark List in ComputerWord Processing or its equivalent.(original& copy)

3. Caste/Community                     : Caste/Community Certificate/Non-

(for Reservation facility)                  creamy Layer Certificate obtained on or after1.1.2004 in original with                                                    copies.

4. Ex-Service candidates              : Discharge Certificate/Pension PaymentOrder in original with copy

5.Physically Handicapped            : Original Certificate obtained from a Medical Board with Copy

6.Sports                                  : Sports Certificate duly countersigned by the Secretary, State Sports Council                                                 (Original &Copy)

7.Candidates in Govt. service       : Original No Objection Certificateobtained from the  concerned Head of the                                                 Department/Head of the Office with  copy

8.Change in Name, Date of :           Original Gazette Notification showing

Birth & Signature                          the change in Name, Date of Birth  and Signature with copy

9.Other Benefits                          : Certificate concerned   in  original to prove  the  claims  made  in  the                                                      application with copy
