The following is the Short List containing the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to be called for interview for selection to the post of RESEARCH OFFICER on Rs.6675-10550 (PR) in the ECONOMICS AND STATISTICS Department (Category No.17/2007) on the basis of the Objective Type Test (OMR Valuation) held on 07.09.2007.
The Register Numbers are arranged in their numerical sequence and the arrangement does not in any way indicate their respective rank on the basis of the said test.

Note 1:- Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on absolute basis. Inclusion of Register Number in the Short List does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.
Note 2:- The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.
Note 3:- Candidates whose Register Numbers are included in the Short List are directed to send self attested copies of documents to prove their claims made in the application, ie, qualification, date of birth, community and other benefits, if any to which they are entitled, to the Under secretary II, Government Wing (Recruitment), Office of the Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom Palace.P.O., Thiruvananthapuram- 695004 within 15 days from the date of publication of this Notification. The Register Numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications are found other wise defective will be deleted from the Short List without further notice.
The candidates who have secured 31(Thirty one) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary List.
The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List, who are required to produce Non Creamy layer Certificate as per G.O.(P)No.46/2007/SC/STDD dated 25.08.2007 shall produce the same along with the other documents mentioned above or as and when called for. Such candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition candidates. As regards such candidates in the Supplementary Lists of Other Backward Classes, their register numbers will be deleted from the Short List without further notice, if they fail to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.
The date, time and place of interview will be intimated in due course.
According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But candidates can apply for rechecking of their answer scripts after the publication of Ranked list for the post. Detailed instructions will be found in the Ranked List notification for this post.
Application for re-checking received from the Candidate whose answer script have been invalidated will not be considered. Register Number of the invalidated script and the reasons thereof in shown in Notification No.ERI/2738/07/EW dated, 18.3.08.
