NOTIFICATION

The following is the unified Short List containing the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to be called for Practical Test for selection to the post of WELDER on Rs. 3050-5230 (PR) in the Kerala State Water Transport Department (Category No.36/2006) on the basis of the Objective type test (OMR valuation) held on 16.6.2007.

The Register numbers are arranged in their numerical sequence and the arrangement does not in any way indicate their respective rank on the basis of said Test.

Note 1:- Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on absolute basis. Inclusion of Register Number in the Unified Short List does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for practical test for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

Note 2:- The Unified Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.

Note 3:- Candidates whose Register Numbers are included in the Unified Short List are directed to send self attested copies of documents to prove their claims made in the application, i. e., qualification, date of birth, community and other benefits, if any to which they are entitled, to the Under Secretary , Government Wing (Recruitment)IV, Office of the Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom Palace P.O., Thiruvananthapuram – 695 004 within 15 days from the date of publication of this Notification. The Register Numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications are found otherwise defective will be deleted from the Unified Short List without further notice.

The candidates who have secured 69 (Sixty Nine) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Unified Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List who are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G.O.(P)No. 46/2007/SC/ST DD dated 25.08.2007 shall produce the same along with the other documents mentioned above. Such candidates in the List who fail to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition candidates. As regards such candidates in the Supplementary Lists of Other Backward Classes, their register numbers will be deleted from the Unified Short List without further notice, if they fail to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.

The date, time and place of Practical test will be intimated in due course.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will be rechecked only after the publication of the Ranked List.

NOTIFICATION

It is hereby notified that the answer script in respect of the candidate with Register No. 100803 in the Objective Type test (OMR valuation) held on 16.6.2007 for selection to the post of WELDER on Rs. 3050- 5230 (PR) in Kerala State Water Transport Department (Category No.36/2006) has been invalidated as he had written and bubbled the register number wrongly in Part A of the OMR answer scripts.
