N O T I F I C A T I ON

          The following list contains the name of candidates found suitable on the basis of the   Written  Test   held on  2/12/06  for the post of  CLERK-TYPIST on Rs.3050-5230(PR) in the SAINIK WELFARE DEPARTMENT in Palakkad District arranged in the order of merit.  The ranked list is brought into force with effect from 8/08/2007.  The ranked list will be in force till the publication of a new ranked list after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier.  Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable,  against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list.  As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment.  The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all, for appointments on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

       Those Ex-Servicemen candidates who have obtained 40% marks and  above have been included in the Main List of this Ranked List. The cut off marks  have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under the reservation group of communities.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed.  But answer scripts will be rechecked,  if the candidates apply for rechecking remitting the prescribed fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account "0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee".     

Applications for rechecking of answerscripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission's Website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom.  Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered.

The application for rechecking along with the original chalan receipt should reach the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Palakkad within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list.  Application for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained.   The Fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account.    In the case of candidates who send applications for rechecking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosing original Challan receipt as stated above, the marks awarded by the examiner for the questions will be rechecked and  if it is found  that the examiner has omitted to award marks for the question or a sub division of a question the paper will be got rechecked and the discrepancies rectified.  The result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

Entries put in Column 4 (Community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents.  The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer,   Kerala   Public   Service   Commission   District   Office,   Palakkad  within 1(one) month from the date of publication of the ranked list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to.  In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.

               The following is the list of candidates for the post of  CLERK-TYPIST  on  Rs.3050-5230(Pre-Revision) in the SAINIK WELFARE  DEPARTMENT  in Palakkad District on the basis of the  Written Test held on 2/12/2006 arranged in the order of merit.  The list has come into force with effect from 8/08/2007.
