N O T I F I C A T I O N

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable by the Commission on the basis of the result of the Objective Type Test (O.M.R Valuation) held on 04.03.2006 and Physical Efficiency Test held from 12.2.07 to 19.2.07 for selection to the post of Police Constable (APB)MSP in Malappuram and Kozhikode Revenue Districts on Rs.3050-5230/- /-(Pre-revision) in Police Department arranged in the order of merit The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 18.04.2007. The Ranked List shall cease to be in force after one year from the date of finalisation of the Ranked List or after one month from the date of commencement of training in respect of the last batch advised from the Ranked List within a period of one year from the date of finalisation of the Ranked List which ever is later. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies, reported to the Commission during the pendency of this list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrance of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But re-checking of marks will be done on payment of Rs.50/- The fee should be remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”. The marks awarded in the OMR test will be checked a second time and if it is found that it is omitted to value an answer , the paper concerned will be got revalued.

Application for re-checking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Section of the various offices of the Commission or its photo copy or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission`s website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered. The original chalan receipt together with the application for re-checking in the prescribed form should reach the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission, District Office,Civil Station, Malappuram, within one month from the day on which this Ranked List is officially released by the Public Service Commission. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account.

The Ranked List is provisional subject to the procedure to be followed for implimentation of the Supreme Court judgements dated 13.12.99 on Creamy Layer and alteration of the Supplementary lists to meet the requirements of reservation as provided in Rules 14 to 17 of KS & SS Rules.
