The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Written Test held on 02-12-2006 and verification of original documents of candidates included in the probability list published on 05/03/2007 for the post of CLERK-TYPIST on Rs. 3050-5230 (PR) in the Sainik Welfare Department in Kannur District arranged in the order of merit. This Ranked List is brought into force w.e.f. 18/04/2007.The List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendancy of this list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all the candidates included in this list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in this list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed. But the answer scripts will be rechecked if the candidates apply for it along with a chalan receipt for the prescribed fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account ‘0051 PSC 105 State PSC-99 Examination Fee’. The application for rechecking with the original chalan receipt should reach the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Kannur within one month from the date on which this Notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission. Application for re checking received after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained. The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections of the various Offices of the Commission or its photocopy or down loaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission’s website/ www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered.

Entries put in Column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their applications and proved with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Kannur within one month from the date of publication of the list, to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised on the basis of communities specified in the list.

NOTE 1: This Ranked List is provisional subject to the Procedure to be followed for implementation of the Supreme Court Judgement dated 13-12-99 on creamy layer and alteration of the Supplementary Lists to meet the requirements of reservation as provided in Rules 14 to 17 of K S & SSR.
NOTE II: The candidates who have secured 43 (Forty three) marks and above in the Written Test are included in the Main List of the Ranked List. The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in the Supplementary List.
