NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable by the Commission for selection to the post of Lower Division Typist (SR for SC/ST only) on Rs. 3050-5230/- (P.R) in NCC Department in Kozhikode District, on the basis of the result of the Written Test held on 02.12.2006, arranged in the Order of Merit. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 05/10/2007. The Ranked List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of One Year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the Rules and Orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies, reported to the Commission during the pendancy of the List. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the List at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the List.

The candidates who have obtained 29 (Twenty nine) marks and above in the Written Test have been included in the Main List of the Ranked List. Marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in the Supplementary List.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed. But answer scripts will be rechecked only after the publication of the Ranked List if the prescribed fee of Rs. 50/-(Rupees fifty only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 STATE PSC 99 EXAMINATION FEE." Applications for rechecking should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry sections of the various offices of the Commission or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission's website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced with the application for rechecking . Candidates whose Register Numbers are not included in the Ranked List should submit the application for rechecking within one month from the date of publication of the Ranked List.

Valid application for rechecking addressed to the DISTRICT OFFICER, KERALA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, DISTRICT OFFICE, KOZHIKODE should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which this notification of Ranked List is officially released by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Applications for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained.

The fee once remitted will not be returned.

In the case of candidates who send applications for rechecking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the marks awarded will be rechecked and the result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

Entries put in Column. 4 (Community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission, District Office, Kozhikode, within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.
