NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates  found suitable on the basis of the result of the Conventional Objective Type  Test held on 16/04/2005 and the Practical Test  held on 28th and 29th July 2006 for the candidates included in the Unified Short List published on 31-01-2006 for selection to the post of DRIVER GRADE II (H.D.V.) in the  Various Departments (Except NCC, Tourism, Excise, Police and Transport) in Pathanamthitta District arranged in the order of merit.  The Ranked List is brought in to force with effect from 10-11-2006.  The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier.  Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list.  As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment.  The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed.  But rechecking of marks will be done on payment of Rs.10/-(Rupees Ten Only).  The fee should be remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the head of account “0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”.

Application for re-checking of answer script should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Section of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission’s Website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from.  Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered.

 The original Chalan receipt together with the application for rechecking should reach the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Pathanamthitta within one month from the day on which the Ranked List is officially released by the PSC.  The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. In the case of candidates who send application for re-checking within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the marks awarded by the Examiner for the questions will be re-checked and if it is found that the Examiner has omitted to award marks for a question or a sub division of a question, the paper will be got re-checked and the discrepancies rectified. The result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

                           The entries put in column (4) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents.  The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Pathanamthitta within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to.  In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.

All the candidates who have secured average plus (Average +) and above in steering steadiness and control and nine items in the Driving Practical Test held on 28-07-2006 and 29-07-2006 are included in the Main List of the Ranked List.
