NOTIFICATION

            The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the Objective Type Test (OMR) held on 22/10/2005 for selection to  the post of L D COMPILER/ INVESTIGATOR/PUNCH CARD OPERATOR  on Rs.3050-5230 ( Pre revised ) in  Economics & Statistics  Department  in Kottayam District arranged in the order of merit.  The ranked list is brought into force with effect from 14/06/2006.  The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List  after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier.  Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list.  As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment.  The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointments on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

            According to existing procedure, re-valuation of answer scripts is not allowed.Answer scripts will be rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totalling of marks for various answers.  Re-checking of answer scripts will be done on payment of Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten only).  The fees should be remitted in any of the Treasuries in the state under the head of account ''0051 PSC 105 state PSC 99 Examination Fee''.The original chalan receipts together with the application for re-checking should reach the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kottayam within Two months from the day on which this notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission.  The fees once remitted will not be refunded on any  account.   Application for rechecking after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained.

            Applications for re-checking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed format available free of cost from the enquiry sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy, or downloaded and printed in A 4 size paper from Commission’s website/www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from .  Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered.

            Entries put in column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents.The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, K.P.S.C.. District Office, Kottayam within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list to get the benefit  of reservation to which they are entitled to.  In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.

NOTE:-The candidates who have secured 66 ( Sixty Six) marks and above in the Objective Type Test (OMR - valuation ) have been  included in the Main List.  The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under Supplementary Lists.
