NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective Type Test held on 16-04-2005 and practical test held on 22-8-06 for the post of Driver Grade.II (HDV) on Rs. 3050-5230 in VARIOUS Department (Except NCC Tourism, Excise, Police and Transport) (Category No.91/2004) in Kasaragod District, arranged in the Order of Merit. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 10/11/2006. The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new ranked list after the expiry of a minimum period of One Year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the Rules and Orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the List. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the List at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the List.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But answer script will be rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totaling of marks in the various answers, i f the candidates apply for rechecking remitting the prescribed fee of Rs. 10/-(Rupees ten only) in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 STATE PSC 99 EXAMINATION FEE. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. The marks awarded for the several questions will be checked a second time and if it is found that a question or a sub division of a question is seen omitted in valuation, the same will be got rechecked.

Application for rechecking of answer script should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry section of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 Size paper from. the Commission’s Website/www.keralapsc.org/or photocopied there from. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered.

The application for rechecking in the prescribed form along with the original chalan receipt should reach the DISTRICT OFFICER, KERALA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, DISTRICT OFFICE, KASARAGOD within one month from the date on which this notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission . The candidate can avail only one chance either after the publication of Short List or after the publication of Ranked List..

Entries put in Col. 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kasaragod within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list..

All the candidates who have secured Average plus(Average+) marks and above in steering steadiness and control in the Driving Practical Test held on 22-08-2006 are included in the Main List of the Ranked List.
