NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the conventional objective type test held on 16.04.2005 and the practical test held on 26/07/06 for the candidates included in the unified shortlist published on 06/01/06 for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) in Various Departments( Except N.C.C., Tourism, Excise, Police and Transport) in Idukki District on Rs. 3050-5230 (Pre-revised) (Category No.91/2004) arranged in the order of merit. The ranked list is brought into force w.e.f.10/11/2006. The ranked list will be in force till the publication of a new ranked list after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, re-valuation of Answer script is not allowed. But re-checking of marks will be done on payment of Rs.10/-(Ten only). The fee should be remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the state under the Head of Account “0051 PSC,105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”. The marks awarded by the examiner will be checked a second time and if it is found that the examiner has omitted to value a question or a sub division of a question, the answer script concerned will be got revalued by the same examiner. The original chalan receipt together with the application for re-checking should reach the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission, District Office Idukki, Kattappana P.O., within one month from the date on which the Ranked List is officially released by the KPSC. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account.

“Applications for rechecking of answer script should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections of the various Offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission’s Website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered”

The entries put in column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application form and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the District Officer, K.P.S.C District Office, Idukki, Kattappana P.O, within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.

All the candidates who have obtained Average + and above marks in steering steadiness and control in the Driving Practical test and secured Average + and above for 9 items from 3 to 11 of the Driving Appraisal Form have been included in the Main list of the Ranked list. Supplementary list have been prepared based on the Lower Scores secured by the candidates in Columns 3 to 11 of the Driving Skill Appraisal Form.

The following is the list of candidates for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) on Rs. 3050-5230 in the Various Departments ( Except N.C.C., Tourism, Excise, Police and Transport) in Idukki District found suitable by the Commission on the basis of the objective type test held on 16.04.2005 and practical test held on 26/07/2006 arranged in the order of merit. Prefix the letter ‘J’ to all the Register Numbers to indicate the District Idukki. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 10/11/2006.
