The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective Type (OMR valuation) Test held on 31/7/2004 and a Physical Efficiency Test held from 26/4/2005 to 30/4/2005 on the basis of the Short List published on 23/2/2005 for the post of WOMAN POLICE CONSTABLE (ARMED POLICE BATTALION, KANNUR UNIT) on Rs. 3050-5230/- in POLICE DEPARTMENT arranged in the order of merit. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 10/6/2005.
The Ranked List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue in force till the publication of a new List on expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendancy of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all the candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.
According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed, but re-checking of marks will be done on payment of Rs. 10/- (Rupees ten only) . The fee should be remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account ‘0051 PSC 105 State PSC-99 Examination Fee’. The marks awarded by the Examiner will be checked a second time and if it is found that the Examiner has omitted to value a question or a sub division of a question, the answer script concerned will got revalued by the same Examiner. The original chalan receipt together with the application for rechecking should reach the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Kannur within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. A period of one month’s time each for rechecking of answer script will be allowed to candidates with effect from the date of publication of Short List and Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance either after the publication of Short List or after the publication of Ranked List. The candidates who has not been included in the Short List is not eligible to apply for rechecking after the publication of Ranked List.
The entries put in Column (4) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application form and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application, should intimate the fact to the District Officer,. KPSC District Office, Kannur within one month from the date of publication of the list, to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.
NOTE: The candidates who have secured 45% marks and above in the OMR Test are included in the Main List of the Ranked List. The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under the Supplementary Lists.
