The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the Objective Type Test (OMR) held on 31.7.2004 and Physical Efficiency Test conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission for selection to the post of Women Police Constable, Armed Police Battalion (KAP III) on Rs.3050-5230 in the Police Department arranged in the order of merit. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 10.6.2005. The Ranked List shall cease to be in force after one year from the date of finalisation of the Ranked List or after one month from the date of commencement of training in respect of the last batch advised from the Ranked List within a period of one year from the date of finalisation of the Ranked List which ever is later.
Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointments on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.
A period of one months time each for re-checking of Aswer Scripts will be allowed to candidates with effect from the date of publication of Short List and Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance either after the publication of Short List or after the publication of Ranked List. Candidates desiring the Answer Script relating to the Written Test held for selection to the post may apply for re-checking within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List. The application for re-checking along with original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee for Rs.10/- under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99-Examination Fee” addressed to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kollam should reach the office within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List. Application for re-checking received after the stipulated time will not be entertained and fee once remitted will not be refunded.
Entries put in Column 4 (Community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kollam within one month from the date of publication of the List to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.
Note:- This Ranked List is provisional subject to the procedure to be followed for implementation of the Supreme Court Judgement dated 13.12.99 on Creamy Layer and alteration of the Supplementary Lists to meet the requirements of reservation as provided in Rules 14 to 17 of KS&SSR.
