NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the OMR Test held on 31/07/2004 and Physical Efficiency Test held from 26.04.2005 to 30.04.2005 for the post of Woman Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion) on Rs. 3050-5230 in Police (KAP II) Department in Thrissur and Palakkad Revenue Districts arranged in the order of merit. The ranked list is brought into force with effect from10.06.2005. The list will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new ranked list after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies reported to the commission during the pendency of this list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies there is no guarantee that all candidates included in this list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in this list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all, for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure revaluation of answer script is not allowed. But the answer script will be rechecked if the candidates apply for it along with a chalan receipt for the prescribed fee of Rs.10/- (Rupees ten only) remitted in any of the Treasuries in the state under the head of Account “0051-PSC-105-State PSC 99 Examination Fee”. The application for rechecking with the original chalan receipt should reach the District officer, Kerala Public Service Commission, District Office, Thrissur within 30 days from the date on which this notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission. Application for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained. The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

In the case of candidates who make applications for rechecking within prescribed time limit enclosing chalan receipt as stated above the answer scripts will be rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in totalling of marks to the various answers. If it is found that the examiner has omitted to award marks to a question or a sub division of a question, the paper will be got rechecked and discrepancies rectified by the examiner. The result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidate from this office.

Entries put in column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their applications and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission, District Office, Thrissur, within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised on the basis of their communities specified in the list.

Note:- The Candidates who have obtained 43 (Forty three) marks and above in the Objective Type Test are included in the Main List of the Ranked List. The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in the Supplementary List.
