NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the Objective Type Test (OMR) held on 16/07/2005 for selection to the post of LOWER DIVISION CLERK on Rs.3050-5230 in Various Departments in Kottayam District arranged in the order of merit. The ranked list is brought into force with effect from 01/01/2006. The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrance of vacancies there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointments on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

The list of candidates for “Recruitment by Transfer from Low Paid Employees” contains the names of candidates selected for appointment arranged in the order of merit. The candidates included in this list shall be advised against the 5% vacancies reserved for them purely on the basis of merit. Candidates selected but could not secure appointment before the expiry of the Ranked List for Direct Recruitment, will be included on the top of the new Ranked List of Low Paid Employees to be brought into force in response to fresh notification for selection to the post of L.D. Clerk in Various Departments in Kottayam District irrespective of their length of service and they will be given appointment accordingly. In case there are no candidates to fill up the 5% reservation quota for Low Paid Employees, such vacancies will be filled up by Direct Recruitment.

According to existing procedure, re-valuation of answer scripts is not allowed. Answer scripts will be rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totalling of marks for various answers. Re-checking of answer scripts will be done on payment of Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten only). The fees should be remitted in any of the Treasuries in the state under the head of account ''0051 PSC 105 state PSC 99 Examination Fee''. The original chalan receipts together with the application for re-checking should reach the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kottayam within Two months from the day on which this notification is officially released by the Public Service Commission. The fees once remitted will not be refunded on any account. Application for rechecking after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained.

Entries put in column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents.The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer, K.P.S.C.. District Office, Kottayam within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.

NOTE:-The candidates who have secured 68 marks and above in the OMR Test have been included in the Main List. The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under Supplementary Lists.
