NOTIFICATION

                    The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Written Test held on 09.01.2002 and the physical measurement and practical test held on 20.01.2004 for the post of COOLIE WORKER in KERALA STATE WATER TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT on Rs.2610 - 3680 arranged in the order of merit.  The Ranked List has been brought into force with effect from 16.02.2004.  The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

                        According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed. But the candidates who have not applied for rechecking earlier can apply for rechecking and their answer scripts will be rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totaling of marks of the various answers if the prescribed fee of Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”.

 The application for rechecking along with the original chalan receipt should reach the Deputy Secretary (Examinations) I, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom P.O, Thiruvananthapuram-4 within two months from the date of publication of the Ranked Lists. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. On receipt of the applications for rechecking, the marks awarded by the Examiner will be checked a second time and if it is found that the Examiner has omitted to value a question or a sub division of a question, the paper concerned will be got revalued by the same Examiner.  The result of rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

                        Entries put in column 4 are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the lists as proved by them in their application and by producing Non Creamy Layer Certificate should intimate the fact to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations) I, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom P.O, Thiruvananthapuram-4 within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to.  In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the lists.
