       The following is the list of candidates for the post of PUBLIC WORKS OVERSEER GRADE I/ D’MAN GRADE I/ WATER WORKS INSPECTOR/TOWN PLANNING AND BUILDINGS INSPECTOR on Rs.1400-2300 (PRE-REVISION) in the KERALA MUNICIPAL COMMON SERVICE, interviewed and found suitable by the Commission and arranged in the order of merit.  This ranked list has come into force with effect from 10.12.2003.

NoteI:     This Ranked List is provisional subject to the procedure to be followed for implementation of the Supreme Court Judgement dated 13.12.99 on Creamy Layer and alteration of the Supplementary Lists to meet the requirements of reservation as provided in  Rules 14 to 17 of KS & SSR.

Note II:     A period of one month’s time each for re-checking of answer scripts will be allowed to candidates with effect from the date of publication of Short List and Ranked List.  The candidates can avail only one chance either after the publication of the Short List or after the publication of the Ranked List. Candidates desiring to recheck the answer script relating to the written test held for selection to the post may apply for rechecking within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List. The application for rechecking along with original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee for Rs. 10/- under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee” addressed to the REGIONAL OFFICER, KPSC REGIONAL OFFICE, ERNAKULAM should reach the Office within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List.  Application for rechecking received after the stipulated time will not be entertained and the fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Note III Candidates belonging to SIUC Nadar Community included in the Short List and interviewed for the post are treated as belonging to OBC as per Judgement of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala dated 28/08/2000 in  O.P.No.7870/88/Y and therefore those included in the Supplementary List for Nadar Community are deleted from the list and included in the Supplementary List of OBC subject to eligibility.

Note IV:   Candidates who claimed to belong to SC/ST who were included in the Short     List and called for interview are given the benefit of community or deleted from the list as the case may be based on the Presidential Notification dtd.08.01.2003 regarding amendment to the list of SC/ST.
