NOTIFICATION

            The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Written Test held on 24.12.2003 for the post of Typist Grade II  (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) on Rs. 3590-5400 in Government Secretariat/Office of the Kerala Public Service Commission/Advocate General’s Office (Ernakulam)/Local Fund Audit Department/Office of the Vigilance Tribunal (Thiruvananthapuram)/Enquiry Commissioner And Special Judges (Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur) (Category No: 87/2001) arranged in the order of merit. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 09.08.2004. The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

            The candidates who have secured 75 marks and above in the Written Test are included in the Main List of the Ranked List.  The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under the Supplementary Lists.

                        According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed. But answer scripts will be rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totaling of marks in the various answers if the candidates apply for rechecking remitting the prescribed fee  of Rs.10/-( Rupees Ten only) in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”.

 The application for rechecking along with the original chalan receipts should reach the Deputy Secretary (Examinations) II, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom P.O, Thiruvananthapuram-4 within two months from the date of publication of the Ranked List. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. On receipt of the application for rechecking, the marks awarded by the Examiner will be checked a second time and if it is found that the Examiner has omitted to value a question or a sub division of a question, the paper concerned will be got revalued by the same Examiner.  The result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

                        Entries put in column 4 are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations) II, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom P.O, Thiruvananthapuram-4  within one month from the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.
