Method of appointment

Appointment by transfer from qualified Nursing Superintendent/Sister Tutors/Head Nurses/Staff Nurse of the College of Nursing or Health  Service Department.

Age Limit

Age limit is not applicable to this selection.

Qualifications: ( i ) MSc Degree in Nursing from any University which is recognised by Kerala Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.

(ii) Permanent Registration with Nursing Council (Those who have not registered with Kerala Nursing Council are also eligible provided they obtain registration from Kerala Nursing Council before appointment).

(iii) The inservice candidates having at least one year’s active service  alone  shall be eligible for appointment by transfer.

Note:- (1) The ratio between appointment ‘by transfer’ and ‘direct recruitment’ will be 1:1 respectively.  Those candidates applying for both by transfer  and direct recruitment shall apply in separate application forms.

(2) In the absence of qualified hands for appointment ‘by transfer’ those vacancies shall also be filled up by  ‘direct recruitment’.

(3) Rules of Reservation and Rotation (Rules 14 to 17 of KS &SSR) shall not be applicable in the case of appointment by transfer and candidates whose names are arranged in the order of merit in the Ranked List shall be advised.

(4) A Service Certificate (in original) from the Head of Office/Department to prove the length of their service in the respective cadre to be produced as and when called for by the Commission.

Note 1):- Candidates who have passed MPhil Degree by 31.12.1993 or who have submitted Ph D Thesis to the University in the concerned subject on or before 31.12.2002 are exempted from passing NET Exam.  In case such candidates fail to obtain PhD Degree, they shall have to pass the NET Exam.

2) Degree awarded by the Universities recognised by the UGC alone shall be considered.

3) When qualifications being equal, preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

7)      Qualifications:-

1. (I). B.Sc/B.Tech Degree in Engineering (Civil) of the Kerala University

 B.E. Degree (Civil) of the Madras University or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto.

      (ii) Associate  Membership, Diploma of the Institution of Engineers, India in CIvil Engineering or any other Diploma recognised as equivalent thereto

2.
