c) Pass in the following 8 subjects under KGTE/MGTE viz.

1.Surveying and Levelling (Higher)

2.Applied Mechanics (Higher)

3.Building Materials and construction(Higher)

4.Hydraulics and Irrigation(Higher)

5.Building Drawing and Estimating(Higher)

6.Earthwork and Roadmaking(Higher)

7.Geometrical Drawing(Lower)

8.Mensuration (Lower)         OR

d) National Apprenticeship Certificate(Surveyor) OR

e) National Apprenticeship Certificate(Civil) OR

f)  National Trade Certificate(Surveyor) OR

g)National Trade Certificate (Draughtsman Civil) OR

h)A pass in VHSE Certificate in Building Technology in the case of Draughtsman Grade II OR

i)A pass in VHSE Certificate in Draughtsman ship and  quantity surveying in the case of Town Planning Surveyor Grade II

Application Form: The application form is a single sheet of paper specially designed for processing  through  Optical Mark Reader(OMR) also.  Candidates have to fill up both sides of the application.  Each application form contains  a unique eight digit barcode on side A.  This Bar Code number is unique for each application.  The candidate has to quote this number for further enquiries.

                                  The application forms will be available in the Post Offices inside the State and Offices of the Kerala Public Service Commission.

                                   The cost of the application form is Rs.10.  The cost of the application form for SC/ST candidates is Rs.5.  An information brochure will be supplied with the application form.  Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling up the forms.  Candidates should not enclose any documents along with  the application.

The applicant shall send  his application in the cover supplied with the application    form.  Applications should be submitted in the form devised and printed by the Kerala Public Service Commission.  Applications otherwise submitted will be summarily rejected.

10.

Mode of sending the application:

1. The name of the post, the Catergory Number and the Department of the respective post should be clearly noted at the top of the envelope.
2. The name and address of the candidate shall be entered at the bottom left hand corner and the address to which applications are to be sent, at the bottom right hand corner of the envelope.

8.  Application Fee and Application Form:

      Candidates should apply in the new application form which is specially designed for processing through Optical Mark Reader(OMR) also.  The application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate Computer processing also using the Optical Mark Reader.  Side A is the OMR data sheet and side B is the conventional application form.  Candidates must fill up both sides of the application form.  Candidate should indicate the eight digit barcode printed on side A of the application in all future correspondences.

        Cost of the application is Rs.10 (Rupees Ten only).  Cost of Application for SC/ST candidates is Rs.5/- (Rupees Five only).  The application should be filled up in accordance with the directions contained in the information brochure supplied along with the application.  Applications which are not in the prescribed form and those which are not filled up in accordance with the instructions in the brochure will be summarily rejected.  The applications can be obtained from Post Offices in Kerala and from various Offices of the Commission.

9.  Documents to prove qualifications, age, community, experience etc. have to be produced as and when called for.  No copies of documents should be attached with the application.
