Applications are invited from qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State for selection to the following posts:-

Note:-  The list of selected candidates published by the Commission  shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published.  Recruitment will be made for the above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment (from ST only) during the pendency of the list.

5.  Method of appointment         :  Direct Recruitment  (from among Scheduled Tribes only).

Note:-         Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe   candidates  will be rejected.  Individual communications regarding the    rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.

6.      Age Limit :       Should have completed 18 (Eighteen) years and   should not have completed 40 (Forty) years as on   01.01.2007 (No other age relaxation is allowed).

Note:-  In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years.  But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.

7.      Qualifications:

1.      Pass in SSLC or its equivalent and Certificate in the particular trade from a Government Institute and practical experience for three years.

OR

     National Trade Certificate in the particular subject and practical 

     experience for two years

                                                            OR

     Diploma in Engineering in the prescribed branch.

Note:-  (1) Practical experience should be acquired after obtaining the basic qualification in the particular trade and prior to the last date fixed for receipt of application for this post as per the Gazette Notification.

   (2) Experience shall be the one gained by the candidate holding temporary or regular appointments in Central or State Government Service or in Public Sector Undertaking or in Registered Private Sector Undertaking. Experience gained as Factory worker on daily wages of permanent nature will also be accepted, provided the service is continuous and not of casual nature.   

(3) Experience Certificate should be certified by the Controlling Officer/Head of the Department in the concerned Government Department.

    (4)  Genuineness of the Certificate will be verified and legal action will be taken against the authority issuing false certificate and the candidates who produce false experience certificates.  

(5)   Para 21 to 23 of the General Conditions in the Gazette Notification are also to be  seen for more details regarding experience certificate and the  specimen form of the Certificate.

9.      Application form:

    Candidates should apply in the new application form which is specially designed for processing through Optical Mark reader (OMR) also.  This new application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate Computer Processing also using the Optical Mark Reader.  Side ‘A’ is the OMR Sheet and Side ‘B’ is the conventional application form. Candidates must fill up both sides of the application . Side A of the application contains an eight digit barcode.  The candidate has to quote this number for further enquires. Cost of the application form for Scheduled Tribe candidate is Rs.5/- (Rupees five only).

Note:-    1.  The application should be filled up in accordance with the directions contained in the information brochure supplied along with the application form.  No documents should be enclosed with the application.    Applications which are not in the aforesaid form and those which are not filled up in accordance with the instructions in the brochure will be summarily rejected. The application can be obtained from Post Offices in Kerala and from various Offices of the Commission.

                 2.  Application should be submitted in the form devised and printed by the Kerala Public Service Commission and applications other wise submitted will be summarily   rejected.                 

3.  Documents to prove qualification, age,  community etc. have             to               be produced as and when called for.  No copies should be attached  with the               application.
