		(c)		A pass in the Madras Government Technical Examination/Kerala Government Technical Examination in the following seven subjects.
	(i)		Surveying and leveling (Higher)
	(ii)		Applied Mechanics (Higher)
	(iii)		Building Materials and Construction (Higher)
	(iv)		Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher)
	(v)		Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher)
	(vi)		Geometrical Drawing (Higher)
	(vii)		Mensuration (Lower) OR
		(d)		Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years Course) of the women’s Polytechnic of the State of Kerala.

The vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list.


Application Form:
The application form is a single sheet of paper specially designed for processing through Optical Mark Reader(OMR) also. Candidates have to fill up both sides of the applilcation. Each application form contains a unique eight digit barcode on Side ‘A’; This barcode number is unique for each application. The candidate has to quote this number for further enquiries.

The application form will be available in the post offices inside the State and offices of the Kerala Public Service Commission.

Cost of the application is Rs.10 (Rupees Ten only). Cost of Application for SC/ST candidates is Rs.5/- (Rupees Five only). An information brochure will be supplied with the application form. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling up the forms. Candidates should not enclose any documents along with the application.

7.	Qualifications:.	Graduation with either Mathematics or Biology as one of the optional subjects for pre-degree course.

	Training:	Every candidate selected for appointment as Dairy Farm Instructor shall undergo eight months training before they are appointed regularly. The training shall be imparted by the Dairy Development Department. They shall be paid a consolidated allowance of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) per mensem during during the period of training. The period of training shall not be counted for probation and increment.
	Probation	Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
