         The above vacancy is now in existence.  The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for SC and dheevara against the vacancies that remain unfiled due to the paucity of candidates belonging to those communities during the currency of the ranked list,published on 18.06.2007 for the post .

Method of appointment

:

Direct Recruitment from among candidates belonging to SC and Dheevara

candidates belonging to ST will be considered for appointment in the absence of SC candidates
Application submitted by candidates other than those belonging to SC,ST and Dheevara will be rejected .No rejection memo will be issued to them individually

Age Limit

:

Must have completed 18 (Eighteen) years and must not have completed 40 (forty) years in the case of SC and 38 years in the case of Dheevara as on 1.1.2008 (excluding relaxation in para 2 of General conditions except para 2 (1)

Qualifications:

1.      Pass in Pre-Degree Examination of any recognised University.

2.      Experience for a period of one year in any approved Juvenile Institution in a Government or Approved Children's Home like Orphanages etc. approved by the Control Board/Director of Social Welfare/Government..

Note:- The veracity of the experience certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and those who issue or produce bogus certificate will be subjected to legal proceedings.  The experience certificate obtained from Private Institutions shall be got attested by (an authorised Officer of the State/Central Government) the District Social Welfare Officer.  Candidates should produce experience certificate in the format appended below:

Candidates are allowed to submit application either by on-line or by Conventional application form.

a. Conventional application form.

The application form is a single sheet of paper specially designed for processing through Optical Mark Reader (OMR) also.  Candidates have to fill up both sides of the application.  Each application form contains  an eight digit barcode on side ‘A’.  This barcode number is unique for each application.  The candidate has to quote this number for further enquiries.             The Cost of application form is 10/-.  The cost of application form for   SC/ST candidates of Kerala State is Rs.5/-. An     information     brochure will   be  supplied with the application form.  Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling up the form.  Candidates should not enclose any documents along with the application.   The application form are available in the Post Offices inside the State and Offices of the Kerala Public Service Commission.

b.  On-line application

1. The application can also be submitted by online facility provided in the website of Kerala Public Service Commission   Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the website of K.P.S.C Viz. www. Kerala psc org.   No application fee is required.   The bar code number  in the application shall be quoted in all further enquiry/correspondence. 2.  The application which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions on the website will be summarily rejected.
