Applications are invited from qualified Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State for selection to the following post in the prescribed form either through conventional application form or through online.

2. Name of Post : Lower Division Clerk
3. Scale of Pay : Scale of pay as prescribed for the post by the concerned Company/ Corporation/Board4. Number of vacancies : 3 (Three)
Note:- 1. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment during the pendency of the list.
2. Candidates will be advised against the vacancies reported for the above post having the scale of pay as prescribed by the concerned Company/Corporation/Board, from this Ranked List strictly in accordance with the order of receipt of vacancies in the office of the Commission and in accordance with the rules of reservation and rotation followed by the Commission. Candidates will not have the right to choose a particular Company/Corporation/Board or scale of pay.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment(from among Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes only)Note:- Applications received from candidates otherthan Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the Rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.
6. Age Limit : Should have completed Eighteen (18) years and should not have completed Forty (40) years of age as on 01.01.2007. (No other age relaxation will be allowed).Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within age limit the upper age limit shall be Relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.
7. Qualifications
Must possess B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree of a recognised University or its equivalent.
8. Applications can be submitted either through conventional application form or through online facility.
A) Conventional Application Form :
Candidates should apply in the new application form which is specially designed for processing through Optical Mark Reader (OMR) also. This new application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate Computer Processing also using the Optical Mark Reader. Side A is the OMR sheet and side B is the conventional application form. Candidates must fill up both sides of the application. Cost of the application form for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates is Rs.5/- (Rupees five only)
The applications should be filled up in accordance with the directions contained in the information brochure supplied along with the application form. No documents should be enclosed with the application. Applications which are not in the aforesaid form and those which are not filled up in accordance with the instructions in the brochure will be summarily rejected. The application form can be obtained from Post Offices in Kerala and from various Offices of the Commission.
B) Application through Online:
The applications can be submitted by on-line facility provided in the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the website of Kerala Public Service Commission viz.www.keralapsc.org. No application fee is required. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Application which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.

a) Lower Grade Drawing Group Certificate, KGTE or its equivalent qualification.
b) Second Grade Certificate secured by Draughtsman (Civil) Trainees under TT Scheme, College of Engineering or under Industrial Training Centre conducted by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India after a course of 8 months.
c) Building, Drawing and Estimating (Higher or Lower) KGTE or equivalent and any two of the other Civil, Engineering Subjects under KGTE or equivalent.
d) Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) of the Women’s Polytechnics of the State (as amended by G O (MS) No.70/66/PW dated 24.3.1966).
e) Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering given by the Rural Institute, Thavanoor (as amended by the G O (P) No 108/85/PWE dated 27.9.1985).
f) Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Draugtsmanship and Quantity Surveying.
g) Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Building Technology.
