(1) For Recruitment By Transfer: No upper age limit is prescribed for recruitment by Transfer. (2) For Direct Recruitment: Must have completed 22 (Twenty two) years of age and must not have completed 35 (Thirty five) years of age as on 01.01.2006. Usual relaxation in upper age shall be allowed to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. |

Qualifications for Recruitment By Transfer and Direct Recruitment |

| 1 |
Master`s Degree in the concerned subject or discipline with atleast 55% (Fifty Five) marks or its equivalent and good academic records. |

M.Ed Degree with knowledge of special method of teaching the subject |

| 3 |
Three years teaching experience in schools or colleges after acquiring the professional qualification. |

| 4 |
Must have passed a comprehensive test specifically conducted for the purpose by U.G.C. or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. when qualifications are equal, preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam. |

| Note: |
For recruitment to various posts of lecturers, Degree awarded by the Universities recognised by the U.G.C.alone shall be considered. |

| Exemption: |
The candidates who have passed M.Phil Degree by 31.12.1993 or have submitted Ph.D Thesis to the University in the concerned subject on or before 31.12.2002 are exempted from possession of NET. In case such candidates fail to obtain Ph.D degree they shall have to pass the NET Examination (G.O.(P)No.123/2002/H.Edn. dated 17.09.2002) |

The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of new lists after the expiry of minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said lists against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the commission in wiriting during the period of currency of the lists. |

Candidates who apply for by Transfer Recruitment should obtain a Service Certificate in original from the Head of the Institution in which they are working as HM/HSS teacher and produce the same as and when required by the Commission.

| The application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate computer processing also using the Optical Mark Reader. Side 'A' is the OMR data sheet and Side 'B' is the conventional application form. Candidates must fill up both sides of application. The cost of the application form is Rs.10/-(Rupees Ten only). The cost of the application form for SC/ST candidates is Rs.5/-(Rupees Five only). An information brochure will be supplied with the application form. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling up the forms. The application form will be available in the post offices inside kerala and offices of the Kerala Public Service Commission Candidates should not enclose any documents along with the application. Copies of documents to prove educational qualifications, age, community etc. should be submitted as and when called for by the Commission. Application should be submitted in the form devised and printed by the Kerala Public Service Commission and applications otherwise submitted will be summarily rejected.
