Conditions

1)      Every candidate shall be prepared physically to carry out the repairs and maintenance of balances.

2)      Every candidate on selection shall execute an agreement in such form as may be  prescribed by Government undertaking to serve the Legal Metrology Department  of the Government of Kerala at least for a period of five years.

Training

1)      Every person appointed as Technical Assistant shall undergo training for a period not exceeding six months in the Government of India Mint, Bombay and/or in a factory of a recognized  manufacturer of working standard balances.

2)      During the period of training, the trainee shall be paid the pay and allowances       admissible to him from time to time but for the deputation and also traveling      allowance according to the rules in the Kerala Service Rules.  The training       period  shall be treated as duty as defined in Sub Clause (III) of Clause (7) of        rule 12 of  Part I of Kerala Service  Rules.

5. Conditions of Service:-
