Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against all the N.C.A. turns identified as untitled during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following districts.

(5) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD. Dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G./O. (Ms) No. 4/61/PD. Dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment from Dheevara Community only.
6. Age Limit : Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 42 years of age as on 1.1.07 subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Note:- For concessions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the general conditions (except para 2 (i)).
7. Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree or Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject and
B.Ed. /B.T. in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in kerala.
Note:- i) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to the Degree for the above purpose.
ii) Applicants should have taken Botany, Zoology, Home Science, Geology, Micro Biology as main subjects for graduate/post graduate(G.O. (Ms) No. 195/96/G.Edn. dated 2.7.1996).
iii) The discipline in which degree and B.Ed. degree were obtained should be mentioned in brackets, in column 6 ‘a ‘of side B of the application form.
iv) The candidates who secured B.Ed./B.T. degree from the Universities outside Kerala should note in the application form the No. and date of relevant order declaring the said degrees as equivalent to those prescribed for the selection. The copies of such order shall be produce before the Commission when called for.
8. SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT
1. Preference will be given as laid down in G.O. Ms) No.50/70/PD. Dated12.2.70 and G.O. (Ms) 9/78/G.Edn.
dated 21.1.78 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. Soldiers in active service and those working in Base establishment are included under the terms of Jawans, wives of Jawans should note on the top of Side ‘B’ of the application form that they are wives of Jawans. Such candidates should produce along with their application proper certificates (true copies) from the officer commanding stating the name, military rank and military address of their husbands and produce the same as and when required by the Commission (G.O. (Ms) No. 509/64/Edn. Dated 19.9.64, G.O. (Ms) No. 614/65/Edn. Dated 9.11.65 and G.O. (Ms) No. 243/66/Edn. Dated 27.5.66). First Class Scouts & Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as teachers (G.o. (Ms) No. 122/75/G.Edn. dated 27.5.1975.
2) Teachers of the Government primary and Nursery schools who are Graduates and are otherwise qualified will be exempted from upper age limit (G.O. Ms)No. 185/70/Edn. Dated 18.4.70 and G.O. (Ms) No. 466/70/Edn. Dated 11.11.70). They should produce proper certificates from authorities concerned, as and when required by the Commission.
Note:- The candidates who claim concession in lieu of any of the above reasons should state the fact in the relevant column of side B and darken the bubble in the O.M.R. sheet side A of the application. Otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected presuming that they are overaged candidates. (For other concessions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the general conditions). Upper age limit after allowing age relaxation as per rule should not exceed 50 years.

10 .Application form and application fee.
The Application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate computer processing also using the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) .side ‘A’ is OMR data sheet and side ‘B’ is conventional application form. The candidates must darken the bubble in side ‘A’ and fill up column in side ‘B’ of the application. Candidates must fill up both sides of the application. Each application form contain a unique eight digit barcode on side ‘A’. This barcode is unique for each application. The candidate has to quote this number for further communication. The cost of the application form is Rs. 10/- (Rupees ten only). The application should be filled inaccordance with the directions contained in the information brochure supplied along with the application. The application can be obtained from post Offices in Kerala and Offices of the Commission.

Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Reservation community candidates should submit application for this post to the concerned district officer where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and should note the name of that district against the relevant column in side `B` of the application and darken the relevant bubble in side ‘A’ of the OMR sheet. 7. Qualificaitons :
1) A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.OR
A pass in Pre-Degree Examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any Examinations recognized by any such universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-Degree Examination
OR
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto.

(2) A pass in T.T.C Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.Special Note:-
(1) B.Ed. degree holders need not apply for this post.

(3) If a written test is conducted, question paper will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam.
