Note:-  (1) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates.
(2) Ranked List will be prepared for Idukki district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked Lists thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post

(3) Reservation community candidates should submit application for this post to the concerned district officer where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and should note the name of that district against the relevant column in side `B` of the application and darken the relevant bubble in side ‘A’ of the OMR sheet. The address of the district officers to which the applications are to be sent is furnished in column (10) of the notification.

4     The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis subject to the Special Conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD dated 27.5.1971.  A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completes five(5) years continuous service from the commencement of service in the former District.  Even if, transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G.O.(MS)No.4/61/PD dated 2.1.1961.  Candidates already in Government Service, holding the post in one District are restricted from applying for the same post in another District.  But they can apply for higher posts.

4.      A pass in Laboratory Technician Course conducted in any of the Medical Colleges in the State or any institute approved by the Government or under Kerala Agricultural University.

Successful completion of Livestock Inspector  Training Course and Training in Laboratory Technician conducted by the Kerala Agricultural University.

OR

Diploma in Laboratory Technician Course from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (South India) for a period of 1 ½ years

OR

A pass in the Laboratory Technicians Course for a period of 2 years conducted by the Secretary, State Council of Vocational Education, Karnataka.

                                                     OR

A pass in the Laboratory Technician Course for a period of 1 year conducted by the Dean, Madras Veterinary College, Madras.

OR

Class I Laboratory Assistant from Armed Forces Medical College, having 15 years experience in the Army Trade of Laboratory Assistant Class I

                                                     OR

Ex-servicemen having 16 years experience in the Army Trade of Laboratory Assistant Class I

                                                     OR

Job oriental Pre-University Diploma in HE  1- 01 Laboratory Technician awarded by Government  of Karnataka State Council of Vocational Education.

                                                     OR

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology awarded by the Punjab State Medical Faculty.

9.      Application form:

The  application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate Computer Processing also using the Optical Mark Reader.  Side A is the OMR data sheet and side B is the conventional application form.  Candidates must fill up both sides of the application. Each application form contains a unique eight digit barcode on side A.  The candidate has to quote this number for further enquires. Cost of the application form is Rs 10/-.The application should be filled up in accordance with the directions contained in the information brochure supplied along with the application form.  The application can be obtained from Post Offices in Kerala and from various Offices of the Commission.

Note:- 1. Self attested copies of documents to prove, qualification, age, community etc should be attached with the application (Provisions in the General conditions in this regard is not applicable).

    Applications which are not in the aforesaid form and those which are not   filled up in accordance with the instructions in the brochure will     be summarily rejected.

2. Application should be submitted in the form devised and printed by the        Commission and applications other wise submitted will be summarily rejected.
