5.Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment
6.Age limit : Must have completed 20(twenty) years and must not have completed 40(forty) years as on 01.01.2007 with ususal relaxation to SC/STand OBC candidates ( For conditions regarding the age relaxation please see para(2) of the General Conditions)7. Qualifications:
1. Degree in Bo-Medical Engineering/Technology or any other qualification recognised by Government as equivalent thereto with not less than 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
2. 8(eight) years experience in Engineering profession of which at least 3(three) years should be teaching experience as Lecturer not below the Diploma level in recognized/approved Institution.
NOTE:-
1.Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering/Technology obtained after undergoing a regular course of study for not less than 3 years with 60% marks in the qualifying examination and a pass in sections A & B of AMIE will be considered as equivalent to a Degree in Engineering.
2. In the case of First or Second class Post Graduate Degree holders in Bio-Medical Engineering/Technology the prescribed 60% marks in the concerned branch for the basic degree will not be insisted upon.
3. The total marks of all the years/semesters of Engineering/Technology course in which University examinations are conducted shall be taken into account in calculating the 60% marks.
4. Percentage of marks obtained for the qualifying examination and details of experience should be furnished in the column prescribed for noting qualification in the application form.
5. Experience claimed by the candidates shall be the one gained after acquiring the basic qualifications prescribed for the post.
6. The veracity of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and those who issue or produce bogus Certificates will be subjected to legal proceedings. The Experience Certificate obtained from Private Institutions shall be got attested by an authorized officer of the State/Central Government. Candidates should produce Experience Certificate in the format appended below:-
