7. Qualifications :(a) Pass in SSLC
(b) Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 year course) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 year course) awarded by the state Board of Technical Education
(c) Working experience of atleast one year in a reputed Automobile workshop,which undertakes repairs of LMV,HGV,HPV fitted with both Petrol and Diesel engine.(d) Driving licence authorizing to drive Motor cycle HGV and HPV
Desirable:-Heavy Duty Driving endorsement
PROBATION : every person appointed to any of the categories shall from the date on which he jins duty be on probation
1. If recruited direct or appointment by transfer from any other services for a total period of two years on duty within a continous period of three yearsTESTS : every person appointed shall during the period of probation pass the account test for executive Officers of kerala

b) ITI (Surveryor Trade) certificate issued prior to 1966 and should have satisfactorily completed six months implant training according to the rules approved by the Board of Revenue in this regard
OR
c) A pass in Surveying and Levelling (Higher) MGTE or KGTE with chain survey test
OR
d) Experience in Military services for a period of 6 years in Surveyor trade
In the absence of candidates with the technical qualifications mentioned above,a pass in Higher Survey Test shall be deemed sufficient.In the absence of candidates with any of the technical qualifications mentioned above a pass in chain Survey test shall be deemed sufficient8.
