Visit of 12 Member Delegation led by Hon Chairman,Nepal PSC

                          6, December Thiruvananthapuram: A delegation from the Public Service Commission of Nepal, comprising of 12 members including the Hon.Chairman Mr.Tirtha Man Sakya, four members Mrs Urmila Shretha, Mr.Bhim Dev Bhatta, Mr.Ganesh Man Gurung, Mr.Srikrishna Yadav,Secretary Mr.Kumar P Poudyal and other officials,visited the Office of the Kerala Public Service Commission,to study the various aspects of civil service. The study,sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India,was intended to revamp the functioning of Nepal PSC to make it more relevant to the current situation in Nepal including the new reservation policy. The team was given a hearty welcome by Hon Chairman, Members and other Officials of KPSC

Handing over of the Annual Report 2006-07

                          31, July Thiruvananthapuram: The Annual Report 2006-07 of the Kerala Public Service Commission was handed over to Sri R.L Bhatia, His Excellency, The Governor of Kerala, by Sri K V Salahuddin, Hon Chairman. Sri E.Marydasan, Dr.P.C.Kesavankutty Nayar, Dr.P.C Beenakumari, Advocate Thomas Philip and Sri K.N.Mohanan Nambiar, the Hon. Members were also present

                       

 

Candidates in Departmental Test Debarred

                          18, May Thiruvananthapuram: The Commission debarred three Government Servants from attending the Departmental tests for two years for their misconduct in the examinations. These persons attended the Departmental Tests conducted in January, 2006.

                          Sri. O. Abdul Manaf, L.D.Clerk, Ambalappuzha North Grama Panchayat, Neerkkunnam and Sri. M.A. Afsal, L.D.Clerk, Office of the Assistant Director of Panchayat, Alappuzha, who had attended the test in Devaswom Board H.S.S, Thakazhi, were found using not- allowed- text books in the Panchayat Test. Moreover, they obstructed the smooth conduct of the test in the examination hall. Sri. A.K.Dinesan, Assistant, 3rd Finance Commission, Secretariat Annexe, Thiruvananthapuram who attended the Account Test (Lower) I Paper, did not return the answerscript after the examination.

                          The Commission have also invalidated the answerscripts of these persons in respect of all the papers they had attended.
