NOTIFICATION

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the OMR Test for the Post of Lower Division Clerk in Various Departments on Rs. 3050-5230 held on 23.08.2003 in Pathanamthitta District notified in the Gazette dated 31.12.2002 (Category Number 209/02) and arranged in the order of merit. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 18.12.2003. The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotations amended from time to time if applicable against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, re-valuation of Answer Scripts is not allowed. But rechecking of marks will be done on payment of Rs. 10/-. The fee should be remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-105-State PSC-99 Examination Fee”. The marks awarded by the examiner will be checked a second time and if it is found that the examiner has omitted to value an answer, the paper concerned will be got revalued by the same examiner. The original chalan receipt together with the application for re-checking should reach the District Officer, K.P.S.C. District Office, Pathanamthitta within Two months from the publication of the result. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account.

The entries put in column 4 are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.

NOTE: The Candidates who have secured 52% marks and above in the OMR Test have been included in the Main List. The cut-off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under Supplementary Lists.
